LINLITHGOW Rose claimed a place in the League Cup semis after seeing off Edinburgh United 3-1 at the city side's ground.
But it was a different story for Bo'ness whose 2-2 draw with Sauchie, combined with the failure of their protest that Camelon fielded an ineligible player in their tie earlier this month, saw them crash out of the competition.

Now the Rose travel to take on Camelon tomorrow (kick-off 6.30pm) as they bid to move into the League Cup final, with Newtongrange and Whitburn battling it out in the other semis.

For full reports on all the Cup games, the latest from both the Linlithgow and Bo'ness camps, and all your local sports news, see Friday's Journal and Gazette.
