A FUNDRAISER for local Winchburgh lad David McCrimmon has raised £2500.
The 32-year-old has been suffering from cancer and was recently admitted to the Western General hospital in Edinburgh to undergo treatment.

Friends and family, including dad Alister, mum Helen and brother Jamie, gathered at Winchburgh Bowling Club earlier this month to raise money for David.

Pal John Crawford – with David, above left – sacrificed his pony tail and hair as part of the fundraising effort.

Alister McCrimmon said: "We would like to thank everyone who was involved in making it a night to remember and we appreciate everything that everyone has done for David.

"David would have loved to have been there in person but he sent everyone involved a big thank you for their kindness and generosity."
